Nicaragua will develop relations with the BRICS countries
Nicaragua sees prospects and opportunities for the BRICS alliance and intends to strengthen its cooperation with its member countries. This was announced by Ivan Acosta, Nicaragua's Minister of Finance and Public Credit, on the sidelines of the 7th Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).
"We believe that BRICS is a good option for a global alliance that offers many opportunities for improvement for developing countries, for countries that have a different view of the global situation. And we will continue to work to develop relations with the BRICS countries," the minister stressed.
As a reminder, the VII Eastern Economic Forum is taking place in Vladivostok on the campus of Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) from 5 to 8 September. The business event will feature a host of sessions dedicated to building up Russia's partnership with friendly BRICS, SCO and ASEAN countries.
The BRICS block includes Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
