What Happens to the Body if You Drink Water the Proper Way? - Eva Shishova

Everyone knows we need water; we (at least, most of us) are also aware of 8 glasses and 30 ml per 1 kg of weight. There was a time when they wrote about diets but not about water. In the early 90s, you were not allowed to drink water in then-popular shaping classes. Then there was a "water splash", and tabloids were full of: "WATER WATER WATER". But few know how to drink water correctly and why the body needs it. First, let's turn to facts and figures.

Ways of daily water elimination from the body:

• large intestine 100 ml

• skin 300 ml

• lungs 600 ml

• kidneys 1500 ml

Total 2500 ml!

That is, every day, a person loses 2.5 liters - no matter how much they drink! Where does the water come from if we don't drink so much? When there is not enough water, the body takes it from organs, tissues and secretions. It is easy to guess the consequences - the body is dehydrated.

Water content in body tissues (organs):

  • brain 85%
  • lungs, heart, kidneys 80%
  • muscles 75%
  • skin, liver 70%
  • bones 20-60% (depending on the type of bone)
  • fat 10%

Did you know that blood alone is 92% water!

Daily body excretions:

• saliva 1.5 - 2 liters

• gastric juice 2.5 - 3 liters

• pancreatic juice 1 - 1.5 liters

• bile 1.5 liters

• intestinal juices (small intestine) 3 - 4 liters

Total 9.5-12 liters.

Also, water is closely related to fat elimination from the body. Some people think that fat comes out to the skin surface with sweat, so they work out wrapped in plastic wrap and sauna sweat belts. Others believe that fat transforms into muscles.

How are things really going?

The fatty acid molecule consists of carbon - C, hydrogen – H, and oxygen - O. When fat is burned, oxidation occurs. When exposed to oxygen, the fat molecule breaks down into carbon dioxide and water, releasing energy. Carbon dioxide leaves the body with breathing. Water leaves in urine or through breathing. Thus, most of the former fat is excreted through the lungs. In a sense, our lungs are the main fat-removing organ. But this does not mean that you need to breathe more rapidly.

To lose 10 kg of fat, you need to inhale 29 kg of oxygen, exhale 28 kg of carbon dioxide and eliminate 11 liters of water from the body in different ways. Meaning cellular water, not the one that gets into the stomach and intestines.

Interestingly, even if you drink a lot of water, the body can be dehydrated at the cellular level. You need to drink raw water - it is with such water that the body cells are saturated. The cells are alive, and they need living water. No tea, lemon water, or even sparkling water can be considered good for cells.

If you cannot drink your daily water intake (this is 30 ml per 1 kg of weight), start with at least 1 liter of clean water - filtered or bottled from the store. Make it a rule to drink 1-2 glasses of water in the morning upon waking up and 1 glass 20 minutes before meals. Set reminders on your phone or download special apps. Cut out carbonated drinks and juices. Drink raw water, and after 2-3 weeks, you will notice how skin has improved, how fresh the complexion has become, energy has appeared, and you are feeling better!
