A Chinese TV series premieres on TV BRICS in Russia

The Chinese television series "Beautiful Youth" premiered on TV BRICS. The episodes are broadcast every day on weekdays at 21:00.

"Beautiful Youth" is a multi-part feature film about life in China in the mid-twentieth century. The film's protagonists face the daunting task of rebuilding their country after a war and economic crisis. They are young, naive and learn to love and, despite their circumstances, aspire to be happy and have a fulfilling youthful life.

The plot of the series is based on real events. In the 60's, the Ministry of Forestry of the People's Republic of China established the Saihanba Forestry to restore the forest which used to be the favourite hunting ground of the Qing dynasty emperors (1644-1911). The series premiered in Russia on TV BRICS. Starring Liu Zhiyang, He Yuhong, Zhao Hengxuan, Jia Hongwei.

Also this year "Life is Beautiful" is scheduled to premiere. It is a Chinese drama TV series that tells the story of two people who were never meant to meet. He left China 10 years ago for a better life in the USA. She lives in Beijing, has just married a policeman and is about to embark on a honeymoon. They each had their own path, but life has made its adjustments. They have been through everything, love, happiness, fear and despair, only to realise that life is beautiful, in spite of all the shocks of destiny. Starring Zhang Jiayi and Li Xiaozhan.
