AI lab for people of determination opens in UAE

Emirates Development Bank (EDB) has opened the country's first artificial intelligence (AI) lab in Dubai, specifically designed for people of determination. According to Emirates News Agency (WAM), a partner TV BRICS, it is part of the UAE Developing with Kindness campaign aimed at improving the lives of citizens with special needs.

The lab provides opportunities for people with Down Syndrome to work with innovative educational tools, as well as hands-on training in AI and robotics. This will allow residents with special needs to develop their skills.

Ahmed Mohamed Al Naqbi, CEO of Emirates Development Bank said that the opening of the lab demonstrates the bank's commitment to developing key sectors, including healthcare and technology, as well as improving the quality of life of people with disabilities through access to state-of-the-art solutions.

It is noted that the initiative coincides with the "Year of the Community" in the UAE, implying the creation of an inclusive and sustainable society.
