The Gorchakov Fund, Rossotrudnichestvo and the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute are happy to announce the InteRussia research internship programme for foreign Russians speakers.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the most significant and promising achievements of the Russian scholars in the field of philology, to participate in expert sessions at the universities, think tanks and community-based organizations, as well as to work under the guidance of scientific advisors, who will be leading academic staff of the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute.
The internship programme will run from 22 May to 19 June, 2023 in Moscow. The working language of the upcoming event will be Russian.
The research areas of the internship are:
- digital linguodidactics;- active processes in modern Russian language;
- the phenomenon of classic literature;
- language policy and international education;
- media language in the digital age;
- psycholinguistic research of tactile communication.
During the fellowship, participants will be trained according to the programme developed in accordance with their chosen field, produce scholarly articles under the supervision of leading specialists from the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute, take part in scholarly discussions, make presentations at the sessions of the International Kostomarov Forum and attend cultural, educational and business programme events.
The closing date for applications is on 7 April, 23:59 Moscow time.
Candidates who successfully pass the online selection process will be invited to an online interview. The results of the competition will be announced on 24 April. All candidates will be informed of the results of the competition via e-mail.
The result of the internship will be a scientific article, written in co-authorship with the coordinator of the scientific field and accepted for review by a highly ranked scientific journal publisher.
The competition is open to applicants who meet the following requirements at the closing date of application:
- age 25-35;- foreign nationality;
- residence outside Russia.
The selection of applicants for the internship programme will be carried out on a competitive basis. To participate in the InteRussia internship programme for foreign language professionals, it is necessary to submit an application.
