Brazil and Russia reach historic record in bilateral trade in 2024
Brazil and Russia reached historic levels in trade volume in October this year, with the Latin American country exporting US$216 million in goods to Russia, a 100 per cent increase on last year's figure.
The growth in Brazilian exports reflects the strengthening of economic co-operation between the two countries, as reported by Brasil 247, a partner of TV BRICS.
Russia's sales to Brazil also increased by around 9 per cent in the period mentioned, reaching US$1.05 billion.
In addition, in October 2024, bilateral trade between Brazil and Russia totalled US$1.3 billion. In the first ten months of 2024, trade reached US$10.8 billion, representing a 20 per cent increase compared to the same period last year.
