Brazil crosses the landmark of 100 million fully vaccinated
According to the data from the Brazilian National Immunization Campaign, 54.5% of the population aged 12 and over is fully immunized against COVID-19. These people have already received two doses of vaccine or a single shot. That means that out of 182 million Brazilians in this age group, 99,657,382 have performed a complete vaccination cycle.
At least one dose was applied to 149,684,859 people, which is 81.8% of the population aged 12 and over. 2,344,769 people received a booster dose.
As stated by Metrópoles, a partner of TV BRICS, in the last 24 hours, 843,195 vaccines were applied in the country.
If we add up the number of all doses applied, we get 251,687,010 doses in total.
