Brazilian municipality launches Education Month

The event will offer a varied programme throughout the month of November

Education Month has started in Niteroi under the slogan "The whole network for literacy and inclusion". Organised by the Secretariat and the Niteroi Municipal Education Foundation, the event will offer a programme throughout November, including workshops, exhibitions and debates in different areas of the city, mobilising students and teachers.

The opening took place at the Janete Costa Folk Art Museum, where the 10th exhibition of educational projects for 2024 will be held from 29 October to 24 November, featuring the work of students, according to Toda Palavra, partner of TV BRICS.

On 30 October, venues such as the Janete Costa Museum of Popular Art and school departments will host meetings for education professionals, with some 3,000 educators in attendance.

On 5 November, the event will include an exhibition with hands-on activities such as robotics and drone-building workshops.
