BRICS+ media space to be complemented by financial analytics from EAEU countries

The investment potential of Kyrgyzstan to be highlighted in the international media space

Exclusive analytical materials on the economy and business of the Kyrgyz Republic will appear in the BRICS+ media space as a result of cooperation between the TV BRICS International Media Network and the financial information and analytical portal Akchabar. The corresponding agreement was signed in Moscow by the General Director of the Kyrgyz media outlet, Luiza Mambetova, and the Executive Producer of TV BRICS, Kristina Muravyova.

The partnership aims to strengthen media cooperation between the BRICS+ and EAEU countries and to enrich the international agenda with objective and reliable analytical information.

“Signing the memorandum with TV BRICS is an important step for us in strengthening international media cooperation and promoting the economic image of Kyrgyzstan. We see in this partnership an opportunity to highlight the country’s investment potential and projects in industry, infrastructure and energy. Joint information initiatives will not only expand the high-quality and reliable informational presence of the Republic on the international stage but will also help attract the attention of investors and business communities from BRICS countries to Kyrgyzstan’s priority areas,” said the General Director of Akchabar, Luiza Mambetova.

The financial information and analytical portal Akchabar (part of the Akchabar Media holding) was founded in Kyrgyzstan in 2013. It operates in three languages: Russian, Kyrgyz and English. The portal specialises in topics such as finance, economics, investment, business and career development. When preparing materials, the editorial team relies on official data from the Kyrgyz Republic and international statistics. The key principles of Akchabar’s work are promptness, exclusivity and accuracy.

The Executive Producer of TV BRICS, Kristina Muravyova, emphasised that developing cooperation with Kyrgyz media would help integrate the country’s agenda more actively into the international information space.

“Kyrgyzstan is a major player and a member of many international organisations, including the EAEU and the SCO, whose agendas are actively covered by TV BRICS media resources and network partners. Today, the country demonstrates steady economic growth and is the leader among the Eurasian Economic Union member states in terms of GDP growth rates. We are pleased to begin information exchange with the specialised portal Akchabar, which will allow us to enrich the international media field with relevant and, most importantly, reliable analytical content about Kyrgyzstan’s economy and business prospects,” said the Executive Producer of TV BRICS.

In 2024, TV BRICS began content exchange with one of the leaders of national broadcasting in the Kyrgyz Republic – the NTS (New Television Network) TV channel. In addition to Kyrgyzstan, within the EAEU space, the media network also cooperates with media outlets in Armenia (5TV channel), Belarus (BelTA), Kazakhstan ( Delovoy Kazakhstan, Kazinform), as well as several leading regional media in Russia.
