BRICS women’s business alliance: strengthening female entrepreneurship as key factor for boosting BRICS economic cooperation

The initiative to establish the BRICS women’s business alliance was first put forward at the international women’s congress of the sco and brics states, which was held in july 2017 in novosibirsk as part of the first public-private dialogue on women and the economy. In 2020, in the framework of russia`s BRICS presidency, the brics wba is on the verge of its final establishment. The participants will gather to discuss the role of the alliance in strengthening female entrepreneurship in the brics countries and enhancing economic cooperation of the five nations.
