BRICS Women's Leadership Forum 2022 to be held in late May
The BRICS Women's Leadership Forum 2022 and the BRICS Women's Innovation Awards Ceremony will be held by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) online and offline on 31 May in Beijing. This is reported on the official website of the Women's Business Alliance.
The competition is an important initiative proposed by China's national leader at the BRICS 2020 summit and endorsed by the other four heads of states. In line with the people-oriented concept, the competition aims to recognise outstanding businesswomen engaged in promoting social well-being and economic development in various fields in the BRICS countries. It should also facilitate the exchange of best practices and innovative initiatives put forward by women and thereby promote cooperation among business ladies in the BRICS countries.
Under the motto "Let your inner strength shine", the forum will include an opening ceremony, an award ceremony, a presentation of the outcome document and two panel discussions.
Chinese and foreign high-ranking government officials and business leaders, representatives of international organisations, foreign institutions in China and business associations, diplomats from BRICS countries in China as well as prominent women from BRICS countries will be invited to share their views and opinions at the Forum.
