China aims to become a world leader in aviation by 2050

The country will establish several world-class airlines

Han Jun, deputy director of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, highlighted the significant progress the country has made since the18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

Beijing and Shanghai are also among the top ten cities in the world with more than 100 million passengers per year. This is reported by Prensa Latina, a partner of TV BRICS.

According to Han Jun, the Civil Aviation Administration is focusing on solving problems such as low transfer efficiency, lack of international connectivity and the need to improve the convenience of entry and exit.

Han advocated a favourable policy environment and pledged to push for optimisation of visa policies, customs procedures and service quality.

"We will strive to establish several world-class airlines and air hubs by 2050, and improve the functional system of international hubs to support China's construction as an air transport power with firm guarantees," he stressed.
