China Develops 5G Networks Ahead of Schedule

China is developingthe fifth generation 5Gcommunication networks in a considerable advance

China is developingthe fifth generation 5Gcommunication networks in a considerable advance, reports atvbrics.com correspondent with the reference to russian.cri.cn.

The China Unicom and the China Telecom companies were going to launch 250 thousand base 5G stations in 50 Chinese cities until the end of 2020. At the moment, this task is reported to be carried out one quarter earlier. The networks will be ready in September.

To recap,the China Unicom and the China Telecom have signed the agreement on joint establishment and operation of a uniformly standardized 5G subscriber distribution network in September 2019. China Unicom will be engaged in thisproject in 9 provincesin NorthernChina, and China Telecom will do it in 17 provinces in Southern China. The operators have agreed to work together in such large markets as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangdong.

Such cooperation will alloweach of operators to save up to 200 billion yuans (28.5 billion dollars). Earlier, the China Unicom Chairman Wang Xiaochu reported about it.

Earlier, the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology predicted that from 2020 to 2025, national telecom operators will spend up to 1.5 trillion yuans (225 billion dollars) to develop 5G networks. The Ministry’s forecasts also addressed the revenues of the companies from the introduction of the fifth-generationcommunication.

According to experts, they will reach 1.9 trillion yuans (285 billion dollars). Due to the development of technologies, specialists also predict job growth: development of 5G communication will allow to create 3 million new jobs in China.
