China supports expansion of BRICS alliance
The Chinese government supports the expansion of the five-country BRICS grouping - Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. The Chinese authorities believe that the fruitful cooperation of the member states in the field of finance will help speed up the recovery of the domestic economies of the BRICS participants, as reported by TASS citing the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Mao Ning.
She said that through discussions and consultations, the admission of new BRICS members will be facilitated through joint efforts.
