China wins eighth gold medal at Paris Olympics

China's Chen Yuxi and Quan Hongchang won gold in women's synchronised diving from the 10-metre platform at the Paris Olympics. This is reported by China Daily, a partner of TV BRICS.

Competing as a pair and having won three consecutive victories in the event at the World Championships, Chen and Quan took the lead in the final with 359.10 points.

In addition, China's Deng Yawen won the gold medal in the women's BMX freestyle event.
