Cuban representatives sign contracts with e-commerce platform from China
Part of the arrangements relate to the transport sector
Cuban firms have signed co-operation agreements with a Chinese e-commerce platform. This is reported by Prensa Latina, a partner of TV BRICS.
The agreements concern the joint development of transport and construction spheres. It is noted that PICLA has already secured the delivery of containers of fertiliser and equipment to Cuba.
In a statement, the governor of the Cuban province of Camaguey, Jorge Sutil, explained that this is a great opportunity to utilise abandoned areas for both agricultural and industrial purposes.
The agency also reports that Cuba's Carlos Juan Finlay University of Medical Sciences has provided a letter of intent for future agreements with the Chinese side.
