Eco-Friendly Sneakers Invented in Brazil, They Can Be Recycled Over and Over Again
Eco-friendly sneakers invented in Brazil can not only be recycled but also used as compost. They are made of sugar cane, aloe vera, coconut, processed plastic bottles and yoga mats, reports the tvbrics.com correspondent with a reference to plus-one.ru.
The manufacturer asks not to throw away sneakers that you do not need anymore but send them back. The company will clean them and give to persons in need.
If the footwear cannot be repaired any more, it will be taken to pieces. Some parts will be polished and used for production of new sneakers. And plant materials will go to compost, which decays in less than a year. Thus, nothing will go to a dump.
Sneakers are available only in white color. Only patches vary in color: they can be pink, green, blue, black and gray. One pair costs 120 dollars.
