TV BRICS to show an inspirational film by an Egyptian director about a blind artist
Egyptian director Dany Gamal's film 'The Blind Photographer' will be screened on Wednesday, 31 May at 11:00 and 21:00 on TV BRICS and on the media network's Wink service page. It will be replayed on Saturday 3 June at 07:00.
Tariq Said El Said was born blind. He doesn't know what colours look like and at the same time he is a photographer. Tariq has taken a special course for blind people who want to realise themselves in this art form. Now his friends ask him to take commemorative pictures for them. 'The Blind Photographer' by Egyptian director Dany Gamal is about inner power. Nothing is impossible for man, the main thing is desire.
"Art is the language of communication between peoples, it is the origin of civilizations. And I belong to the oldest and greatest civilization known to history, the Pharaonic civilization. I belong to the origin of art. I am very happy to be the first Egyptian director whose films are shown on TV BRICS, the wonderful screen. I am proud of this experience and I am honored that my films are the first Arabic-language films to be shown on the channel"![]()
