Egyptian president holds phone talks with South African counterpart

The two heads of state discussed a range of key international issues

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and South African President Cyril Ramaphosa have agreed to strengthen cooperation across multiple fields during a telephone conversation, according to Sada El-Balad, a partner of TV BRICS.

Both leaders expressed satisfaction with the positive momentum in bilateral relations and underlined the importance of continued efforts to deepen economic and trade cooperation. They also highlighted the need to enhance international and regional coordination mechanisms, particularly within the frameworks of the United Nations and BRICS+.

According to the South African side, the discussion highlighted the strength of current relations and the shared determination of both nations to broaden cooperation across multiple sectors.
