Ethiopia and Belarus explore cooperation opportunities in agriculture and tourism

The countries are strengthening ties in various spheres

Ethiopia and Belarus are discussing opportunities to strengthen cooperation in trade, agriculture, and tourism. This is reported by Fana Broadcasting Corporate (FBC), a partner of TV BRICS.

Ethiopian Ambassador Extraordinary to the Russian Federation Genet Teshome met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik to discuss prospects for bilateral relations.

Genet Teshome expressed Ethiopia's interest in the Belarusian experience in agriculture, farm machinery, pharmaceuticals, and information technology. He noted that Belarusian agricultural machinery products are widely known in Ethiopia.

The ambassadors also discussed possibilities of cooperation in tourism. Aleksandr Rogozhnik invited representatives of the Ethiopian tourism industry to take part in tourism exhibitions in Belarus.
