Ethiopia reaffirms its commitment to the BRICS vision

On 22-23 April, a meeting of BRICS Sherpas/Sous-Sherpas was held in Moscow under the chairmanship of Sergey Ryabkov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sherpa of the Russian Federation in BRICS.

There were discussed topical issues on the agenda of the Russian chairmanship year in BRICS, including the implementation of the decisions of the Johannesburg Summit on 22-24 August 2023.

During the event, Ethiopia reaffirmed its commitment to the BRICS vision and fulfilment of its responsibilities to promote a meaningful and productive partnership for inclusive and sustainable development. This is reported by ENA.

On Ethiopia's side, the meeting in Moscow was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia Mesganu Arga.

On social media, he wrote: "I reaffirmed Ethiopia's commitment to the BRICS vision and to fulfil our responsibilities to promote a meaningful and productive partnership for inclusive and sustainable development."
