Ethiopian capital to host 4th G25 African Coffee Summit in 2027

Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, has been chosen to host the 4th edition of 4th G25 African Coffee Summit, scheduled for 2027. The announcement was made by the Deputy Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Temesgen Truneh, on his social networks.

The statement was made during the third G25 African Coffee Summit in Dar es Salaam, where key issues for the African coffee industry were discussed, as reported by Fana Media Corporation (FMC), a partner of TV BRICS.

This year's central theme was "Unlocking Employment Opportunities for Youth through the Regeneration of the African Coffee Industry". During the event, African leaders focussed their efforts on strengthening research and expanding cooperation to boost growth in the sector.

Temesgen emphasised that Ethiopia, Africa's largest coffee producer, has achieved significant results thanks to strategic reforms that have increased both revenues and opportunities in the sector.

The event will play a crucial role in promoting growth and creating jobs in the African coffee industry.
