Global media exchange system for SCO countries launched in China
China Media Corporation has officially launched an "All media service" platform. The platform provides information exchange between the leading media of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation countries automatically. One of the first partners of China Media Corporation's project is the international network TV BRICS.
Shen Haixiong, president of China Media Group (CMG) and Deputy Minister of the Central Propaganda Department of the Communist Party of China, announced the launch of the project.
Heads of 30 media outlets from different countries spoke at the ceremony. Major international news agencies, national television networks and international media companies are among the first partners of China Media Corporation's global project.
"Information exchanges between professional media, opinion leaders, allow, first and foremost, providing residents of all Shanghai Cooperation Organisation countries with exclusive access to accurate and reliable information. Moreover, the coordinated interaction of authoritative national and world mass media will undoubtedly help strengthen the international prestige of our countries and serve as one of the catalysts to bring the SCO member states and their peoples closer together based on the "Shanghai Spirit"," said Janna Tolstikova, CEO of the TV BRICS International Network.
Members of the "All media service" will have access to videos in their national languages, as well as access to a platform for the distribution of their own content, including news items, opinion programmes, infographics, video blogs, documentaries and feature films.
The platform provides its members with the possibility of organising filming, interviews on an individual partner's request.
The "All media service" operates in five languages: English, Russian, Spanish, French, and Arabic. The international network TV BRICS will support the initiative of China Media Corporation by supplementing the information exchange within the framework of the created platform with video content of the network's partners from the BRICS countries.
