India emerges as leading labour market in Asia-Pacific region

It is expected to grow at over 30 per cent in the third quarter of 2024


North India is the region with the strongest hiring intentions exceeding 36 per cent.

The report by global workforce solutions company highlighted that financial and real estate sectors are the major drivers of employment growth, followed by healthcare and life sciences. This is reported by IANS, a partner of TV BRICS.

In addition, the report revealed that more than 62 per cent of employers have integrated artificial intelligence (AI) into their operations, including generative conversational AI. 

Notably, 80 per cent of senior executives expressed optimism about the positive impact of AI on the business as a whole, compared to 68 per cent among rank-and-file employees and enterprise workers. In addition, nearly 68 per cent of employers plan to expand their workforce by implementing AI and machine learning in the next two years.
