India to allocate More Funds for Health Care

According to the Hindi news agency Amar Ujala, Narendra Modi stated that by 2025, the government is going to bring expenses on health care to 2.5% of the country’s GDP. At present,the expenses on health care make 1.15% of GDP.
According to the Indian Prime Minister, to achieve it they will need not only to increase expenses, but also to change approach and to achieve bigger transparency. Special attention will be paid to the health of children and mothers. According to the statistics, over the last three years, the country has vaccinated 32.8 million children and 8.4 million pregnant women.
