India unveils new technology for the future of work
India's Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan inaugurated an exhibition on new technologies for acquiring skills and knowledge for the future of work.
Featuring more than 100 projects from India and G20 members, the exhibition, based at the Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, will continue until 28 April. It brings together technology leaders and academics to showcase their perspectives and vision related to the future of work, as reported by Prensa Latina, a partner of TV BRICS.
The exhibition, which alternates with the third meeting of the G20 Education Working Group, includes a space in which visitors come into contact with cutting-edge projects.
They also witness cutting-edge technologies transforming various sectors of work such as automation, digitalisation and Industry 4.0 skills.
Several institutes and organisations from various sectors in India are participating with innovative modelling on workplace, job skills, among other aspects.
