Iran's Deputy Minister of Agriculture Alireza Mohajer in his speech emphasised the importance of uniting the efforts of researchers in the agricultural sector. He stated that this is necessary for increasing production, increasing awareness among farmers and taking right decisions even by top officials. This is reported by IRNA, a partner of TV BRICS.
Addressing the national conference of senior professionals in agriculture, the ministry official expressed his appreciation to researchers and veterans of the field. He also said that the current global environment requires countries to realise that activities and food security play a key role in the development of a country's economy.
The Deputy Minister noted that food security is becoming a key infrastructure for national security and the current challenges require comprehensive solutions to ensure sustainable development.
In his presentation, he emphasised the relevance of food security and the need for continued efforts to explore this area. He expressed confidence that only through combining science and practical experience will the agricultural industry be able to achieve increased production and awareness among the participants in this process.
