Leader of Kyrgyzstan’s television and radio broadcasting joins TV BRICS media partner network
The countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) are developing information exchange with other integration associations through TV BRICS. The National Television and Radio Broadcasting Corporation of Kyrgyzstan (NTRK, in Kyrgyz – UTRK) – the largest player in the national media market – has joined the network of media partners of TV BRICS in the EAEU space. The cooperation agreement was signed by the General Director of UTRK, Ulan Satiev, and the CEO of TV BRICS, Janna Tolstikova.
The partners have agreed to exchange television content and participate in the creation of creative projects. In the near future, TV BRICS will be ready to provide the audience of Central Asia with in-house programmes and documentaries, as well as media products from foreign broadcasters working with the media network. At the same time, UTRK’s television projects on the cultural heritage, investment opportunities and trade and economic prospects of Kyrgyzstan will become available through TV BRICS to viewers in different countries of the world.
"BRICS is playing an increasingly significant role in shaping the global economic, political and humanitarian agenda. The countries participating in the group demonstrate growing influence on international processes, offering new approaches to development, cooperation and sustainability. For our corporation, it is extremely important to cover initiatives, decisions and projects within BRICS promptly and with high quality, as they directly influence regional dynamics, open up opportunities for partnership and enable the audience to gain a deeper understanding of the global changes taking place. We are interested in expanding cooperation with TV BRICS, in exchanging information and in participating in media projects that help strengthen mutual understanding and build trust between the BRICS countries"![]()

The National Television and Radio Broadcasting Corporation of the Kyrgyz Republic was founded in 1931. It comprises six national and seven regional television channels, as well as four radio stations. Its media resources are focused on providing informational support for the national ideology and state policy both within Kyrgyzstan and beyond. UTRK is the main public broadcaster of the republic.
The CEO of TV BRICS, Janna Tolstikova, emphasised that the agenda of Kyrgyzstan, which is a member of over 100 international organisations, including the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the EAEU and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), is of great interest to the global media community.
"The TV BRICS International Media Network is pleased to develop friendly and partnership relations with the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Corporation of the Kyrgyz Republic. The appearance in the BRICS+ information space of media materials produced by UTRK will undoubtedly strengthen the international positioning of the country and allow foreign audiences to gain a fuller understanding of Central Asia. Together with our media partners, we strive to bring together on TV BRICS the information flows of various integration associations in order to form a unified and, most importantly, objective international agenda, contribute to strengthening diplomatic ties and establish new prospects for communication in the humanitarian and business spheres"![]()
