Lula participated in the signing of an agreement for creation of an aerospace park in Brazil

It will be dedicated to advanced research in the aerospace industry

Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva participated in the signing ceremony of a partnership agreement for the creation of the Aerospace Technology Park in the state of Bahia (north-east of the country).

According to the Planalto Palace, the residence of the executive branch, the agreement, concluded between the federal government, the Ministry of Defence, the Aeronautics Command, the State of Bahia and the Institute of Medical Technology (Senai Cimatec), aims at promoting the development of the aerospace industry in the region.

The future aerospace technology park will be located at Salvador Air Base, the capital of Bahia State. It will be designed for advanced research and the creation of innovations in the aerospace industry. This is reported by Prensa Latina, a partner of TV BRICS.
