More than 30,000 projects are presented at the forum Strong Ideas for a New Time
The Fourth Forum of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) and the Roscongress Foundation "Strong Ideas for a New Time" took place in Moscow, bringing together almost 2,000 participants, journalists and business representatives.
This year, residents of Russian regions submitted more than 30,000 applications from all over Russia to the forum's crowdfunding platform. Among the initiatives were both those that are at the idea stage and those that are already being actively implemented. Bashkiria ranks first among the regions in terms of the number of applications submitted, followed by Moscow, the Nizhny Novgorod Region and the Samara Region.
Applications were accepted in seven areas: "Economic and Entrepreneurship Development", "Quality of Life of the Population", "Space for Living", "Effective Labour and Education", "Technological Development", "Economy of Data and Digital Solutions", and "Effective State". The nomination "Quality of Life" proved to be the most popular in terms of the number of applications.
All submitted projects were evaluated by experts, and one thousand selected finalists will receive support in implementing their ideas.
The main event of the forum's business programme was a plenary session with the participation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, at which the director of the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology Endowment Fund, Andrey Shket, presented the leader with a project to promote technological solutions with the support of TV BRICS. This is reported by the official website of the President of the Russian Federation.
The annual forum ASI "Strong Ideas for a New Time" is aimed at supporting and implementing socially significant initiatives and projects of citizens of the country. It encourages the selection of ideas for the formation of the country's development strategy.
