Moscow region summarises results of dressage tournaments for United Arab Emirates Cup

The struggle unfolded in three competitions: the Russian Championship in the small circle, the best young dressage horses of the country, as well as the winner of the United Arab Emirates Cup.

Special attention was focused on the UAE Cup, the first tournament of this level in the history of Russia. The tournament was organised on the initiative of the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates to the Russian Federation and with the support of the Russian Equestrian Federation.

Russian athlete Inessa Merkulova won competition, receiving 77.110 per cent from the judges and earning the UAE Cup.

The winner and prize-winners were awarded by Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Russian Federation Mohammed Ahmed Al Jaber, Deputy Minister of Sport of the Russian Federation Aleksander Nikitin, President of the Russian Equestrian Federation Marina Sechina, and Advisor to the President of the Russian Equestrian Federation Maksim Kretov.

The tournament became a significant event in the sphere of Russian equestrian sport, demonstrating the high level of athlete preparation.
