On the first day of the forum, the session "Opportunities for business associations to strengthen BRICS cooperation" will be held. Experts will discuss how associations of small and medium-sized businesses of the BRICS countries can interact with each other.

It will be attended by Anna Nadobnykh, Business Ambassador to South Africa, Member of the General Council of Delovaya Rossiya, Managing Partner of BizApps (Russia), Gilberto Ramos, President of the Brazilian-Russian Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Tourism (Brazil), Zhou Lijun, President of the Union of Chinese Entrepreneurs (China), George Sebulela, President of the South African United Confederation of Business (South Africa), Basudev Mukharji, Representative of the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (India) and other representatives of the BRICS countries.

On the second day of the forum, 25 November, the session "Hospitality industry: how does tourism development impact city's appearance?" will take place. Speakers will discuss what development awaits the tourism sector in the near future. During the session, Janna Tolstikova, CEO of TV BRICS, will talk about international media promotion as a driver for the development of Russian tourism.

In 2022, 900 speakers from 64 countries are participating in the International Municipal BRICS+ Forum.

Recall that the decision to establish the forum was made at the BRICS Ministerial Summit, held in July 2018 in South Africa. The regional delegation from St. Petersburg, headed by Mikhail Cherepanov, put forward the idea of creating a global information and communication platform for the municipalities of the BRICS countries, and the summit participants supported the proposal.
