Plane crashes in Brazilian city of Vinhedo with 62 people on board
A plane with 62 people on board has crashed in Vinhedo. The mayor's office in the neighbouring town of Valinhos said there were no survivors. The plane took off from Cascavel (Parana state) in the direction of Guarulhos (Sao Paulo). This is reported by

It is known that 58 passengers and four crew members were on board the plane.
Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva during a speech in the state of Santa Catarina asked for a minute of silence in memory of the victims.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed condolences to the leader of Brazil over the tragic consequences of the crash of a passenger plane.
"I ask you to convey words of sincere sympathy and support to those who lost their relatives and friends in this plane crash"
