PRC optimises Russian-Chinese passenger traffic

Wang Wenbin, head of the Chinese foreign ministry's press office, assured on Tuesday, 21 March, that the relevant services of China will work to achieve clarity, speed, smoothness in cross-border bilateral travels of Russian and Chinese citizens, as reported by TASS.

"The Chinese Foreign Ministry, in cooperation with the country's consular services in Russia, will continue to address current challenges and ensure optimal conditions for comfortable and stable travel between China and Russia," said Wang, explaining the conditions for issuing PRC visas to Russians.

He stressed that the relevant structures of China, working in Russia, have significantly accelerated the issuance of visas to Russians, making every effort to ensure that the procedure is quick and without problems.

Beijing, according to Wang Wenbin, has recently been quick to organise the travel clearance processes for foreign nationals travelling to China.
