President Vladimir Putin to Visit the Belt and Road Forum in Beijing

President Vladimir Putin will be the main guest of the Belt and Roadforum in Beijing. The official visit of the Russian President to China is planned for April 26-27, said the Russian ambassador in China Andrey Denisov in his interview to TASS. The diplomat noted that Russia and China show the impressive level of bilateral relations.

"Last year,our Presidents participated in four meetings, four summits, Ministers of Foreign Affairs met six times, and Defense Ministers met four times. And the heads of governments have just had another planned meeting", the ambassador reported.

In 2018, there were two special meetings:one of the Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Keqiang and President Vladimir Putin, and the other of the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and the Chinese President Xi Jinping, Sibnovosti.ru reports. Today diplomatic missions of Russia and China set the meetingschedule of the cochairmen of intergovernmental commissions at the level of Deputy Prime Ministers.
