Xi Jinping calls for efforts to successfully hold the Year of Partnership between China and Egypt
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Chinese President Xi Jinping held in-depth talks, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations and solving major international issues. This is reported by Xinhua News Agency, a partner of TV BRICS.
Launched in a joint declaration, the “Egypt-China Partnership Year” is a series of diplomatic, cultural, and economic activities meant to deepen relations between the two nations.

In a separate meeting, President El-Sisi met with Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) of China. They touched on political and economic cooperation, stressing the value of capacity building and technology transfer.
The conference emphasised China's and Egypt's strategic and historical ties as well as their shared commitment to expanding bilateral cooperation across a range of industries.
Xi Jinping, in turn, accepted the invitation of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to visit Egypt.
