Putin invites Iranian president to BRICS summit

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kanaani announced that the President of Russia Vladimir Putin has formally invited Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to attend the upcoming BRICS summit in Kazan and sign a Russia-Iran comprehensive agreement. This is reported by Mehr News Agency, a partner of TV BRICS.

He also added that the drafts of the comprehensive agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation have been finalised.
Russia will hold the BRICS Summit in Kazan from October 22 to 24, 2024.
