Representatives of cultural spheres of Kazakhstan and Iran sign cultural and artistic memoranda
Countries strengthen cultural ties through art
The Kazakh National University of Arts hosted an art and music programme entitled "Iranian Culture, Art, and Civilisation," which was an outstanding example of strengthening cultural ties between the two countries. This is reported by ParsToday, a partner of TV BRICS.
The event was attended by Ali Akbar Talebi Matin, the Cultural Counsellor of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kazakhstan, Raushan Nurtaza, President of Kazakhstan's National University of Arts and International Relations, as well as representatives of various faculties, professors, and students.
Iranian musicians presented traditional music from different regions of Iran, talking about the history, origin, and structure of each musical instrument.
There was also an exhibition and master class of Iranian watercolour painting, which aroused great interest among the students.
At the end of the programme, a cultural and artistic memorandum was signed between the president of Kazakhstan's Astana National University of Arts and Iran's cultural advisor in Kazakhstan.
"The relations between our two nations are expanding across various sectors, including scientific, educational, cultural, and artistic fields, as well as through book publishing, translation, exhibitions, and academic exchanges," said Ali Akbar Talebi Matin.
At the end of the programme, it was agreed that a delegation from Kazakhstan's National University of Arts will visit Iran's Art University of Isfahan. In turn, with the support of the Iranian Cultural Advisor in Astana, a group of Iranian experts in the field of art and music will visit Kazakhstan to conduct educational seminars for university students.
