Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo will host the FIFA Fan Festival
Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo are among 8 cities in the world that will host the FIFA Fan Festival.
As part of the events held by the organisation in partnership with sponsors, the 2022 World Cup matches will be shown on large screens, as well as concerts for the public.
In addition to the two Brazilian cities, the fan festival will take place in Doha (host country of the World Cup, Qatar), London, Dubai, Riyadh, Seoul and Mexico City.
In Brazil, the parties will be held on days when the Brazilian team plays. In Rio de Janeiro, the festival will take place on Copacabana Beach, in the same location where it was held in 2014 when Brazil hosted the FIFA World Cup. In São Paulo, it will be held in the Vale do Anhangabão region.
It should be recalled that the 2022 FIFA World Cup kicked off in Qatar on Sunday 20 November.
In the first group stage, Brazil will play Serbia on 24 November, Switzerland on 28 and Cameroon on 2 December, as reported by Toda Palavra, a partner of TV BRICS network.
