US$6,9 billion will be allocated for this initiative
Families with many children will be able to receive state support for mortgage repayments for another seven years, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a meeting.
He reminded that families with three and more children can receive 450 000 rubles (US$4819) to repay mortgages. Last year about 190 thousand such payments were provided. This is reported by the official website of the government of the Russian Federation.
On the instructions of the head of state, the Cabinet extended this measure for another 7 years, Mishustin said. "The benefit will be available to families in which the third and subsequent child will be born before 31 December 2030," specified the head of the government.
"In total, more than 600 billion rubles in additional funds are required for these purposes, including about 50 billion rubles this year," Mikhail Mishustin emphasised.
