Russian innovative projects to be able to receive media support abroad through TV BRICS

This initiative is designed to strengthen Russia's international standing and expand cooperation with the BRICS+ countries

Innovative projects that contribute to positive changes in the country and improve the quality of life of Russians can be replicated through the media in the BRICS+ countries. In Moscow, Svetlana Chupsheva, Director General of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects (ASI), and Janna Tolstikova, CEO of the TV BRICS International Media Network, signed a cooperation agreement to this effect.

The cooperation between the partners is aimed at strengthening Russia's international prestige and developing cooperation with the BRICS+ countries. Through TV BRICS, foreign audiences will be able to learn about the best projects aimed at systemic changes in improving the quality of life, the environment, education and training, regional and urban development, development of new technologies and business support.

"ASI is an assembly point for cutting-edge initiatives, projects and ideas from a wide range of fields. Many of them can not only be successfully implemented abroad, but also attract our BRICS+ partners to cooperation and inspire their own similar projects in their countries. We also study foreign practices with interest and attention, and it is very important that thanks to our cooperation with TV BRICS, this mutual exchange can become even more fruitful"

Svetlana Chupsheva Director General of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects (ASI)

The Agency for Strategic Initiatives was established in 2011 by the Government of the Russian Federation to implement a set of measures in the economic and social spheres. ASI works together with leaders on large-scale initiatives and unites the efforts of society, business and the state. In May 2024, at a meeting of the Supervisory Board chaired by Russian President Vladimir Putin, the agency was tasked with assisting in promoting domestic brands and projects abroad.

CEO of TV BRICS Janna Tolstikova noted that the media network adheres to a creative information policy and focuses on topics that unite different countries and strengthen interstate cooperation. For example, in November 2024, TV BRICS reported on its portal and TV channel about the opening in Moscow of an international competence centre for the development of educational systems of the BRICS countries, created with the support of ASI.

"Today, many of Russia's advanced solutions in various socio-economic spheres are of interest abroad. The TV BRICS International Media Network traditionally advocates strengthening dialogue between countries, establishing interstate communications, developing professional communities, and sharing interesting and progressive experience. Through the network of our media partners, which is more than 70 major foreign media outlets, we can promote ASI initiatives and Russian projects that can have a positive impact on the quality of life of people around the world, the prosperity of cities and regions"

Janna Tolstikova CEO of TV BRICS

As an international partner, TV BRICS provides communication and information support for major international events in the BRICS+ countries and media support for the activities of government authorities, cultural and higher education institutions. Among the major public and non-profit organisations TV BRICS partners in Russia are the Agency of Creative Industries, Roskachestvo, the Moscow Centre for International Cooperation, and the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
