Russian President congratulates South African President on the country's Freedom Day
On April 27, Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated South African President Cyril Ramaphosa on South Africa's Freedom Day, as reported on the Kremlin
website.
Vladimir Putin said relations between Russia and South Africa are developing dynamically in the spirit of strategic partnership. The countries continue productive cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical and humanitarian areas.
"The coordination of efforts between Moscow and Pretoria within the UN, BRICS, G20 and other multilateral structures is yielding good results," the Russian president said.
Russian President noted that the buildup of mutually beneficial Russian-South African ties fully meets the interests of our friendly peoples and is in line with the strengthening of international security and stability.
He also wished Cyril Ramaphosa good health and success.
Earlier in March, the leaders exchanged congratulations on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and South Africa, and discussed the further development of the two countries.
The Presidents of Russia and South Africa stressed the importance of continuing cooperation within BRICS and other international forums.
