Russian regional channels are airing TV series about China

TV BRICS Media Network, together with regional media partners from Russia and China, organises TV shows of Chinese series about the culture and history of the Celestial Empire. The series "Beautiful Youth" and "Life is Beautiful" are already available in Russian regions on the channels National Housing Channel (NZhK), Channel 10, Afontovo, and Tvoya Tyumen.

"Beautiful Youth" is a multi-part feature film about life in China in the mid-20th century. The heroes of the film face an important task - to revive the country after the war and economic crisis. They are young, naive, learn to love and, despite the circumstances in which they find themselves, strive to become happy and live a beautiful youth.

The plot of the series is based on real events. In the 1960s, the Ministry of Forestry of the People's Republic of China created a forestry "Saihanba" to restore the forest area, which was once a favourite hunting ground of the emperors of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1912).

"Life is Beautiful" is a Chinese drama television series. The story is about two people who were never supposed to meet. He left China for America ten years ago for a better life. She lives in Beijing, just got married and is about to go on a wedding trip. They each had their own path, and those paths should never have crossed, but....

Love and happiness, fear and despair - the heroes of the series will go through everything before realising that life is beautiful despite the challenges of fate.

Now these serials are being shown:

"NZhK" is a federal television channel with its own programming and 24-hour broadcasting seven days a week. A special feature of the channel is its broadcast in 14 regions of the country.

"Channel 10" has been on the air for 21 years. According to sociological research, it has been and remains the leader of the TV market in Mordovia. According to the results of February 2023, the channel was among the top 5 Russian regional channels in terms of audience viewing and engagement.

"Afontovo” broadcasts in Krasnoyarsk 24 hours a day and seven days a week.

”Tvoya Tyumen” broadcasts information and entertainment content: city news, talk shows with heroes of the news agenda, live broadcasts of sports and cultural events in Tyumen.

The series was also aired on the TV "Prodvizhenie", which has an audience of 25 million people.

In 2022, as part of the international network's co-operation with the Hubei Provincial Radio and Television Bureau and with the support of Hubei Zhongtu Changjiang Culture Media, the TV BRICS channel was supplemented with Chinese content.

It should be noted that one of the most important tasks of the TV BRICS network is co-operation with regional media in the BRICS+ countries. In this way, interregional ties in BRICS and the global space are strengthened and developed.
