Saudi Arabia expands scholarship programme for international students

118 more universities have joined the programme

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Culture is expanding its scholarship programme for foreigners. This is reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The grants are now available to students at an additional 118 universities.

This brings the number of foreign institutions in the programme to 278. Students from 15 countries, including Russia, will be able to receive financial incentives.

Scholarships are available for 13 specialities in the field of culture and art. The funding covers tuition fees, transport costs, accommodation fees for scholarship holders and accompanying persons, medical insurance.

The programme is designed to attract foreign cultural professionals to the Kingdom. These measures will help meet the growing needs of the Saudi labour market, as well as achieve the goals of the Vision 2030 strategy aimed at diversifying the economy.
