Saudi Arabia launches programme to promote Arabic language and culture in Brazil
The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL) in Saudi Arabia has launched an academic programme in Brazil that will run until November 9, as reported by Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The project is being developed in cooperation with Arabic language teaching institutions and aims to promote the language among foreigners and improve the quality of training and learning outcomes.
The highlight of the programme will be the "Forum on Arabic Language and Culture" at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, which will be attended by KSGAAL Secretary General Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Washmi. The forum will include expert presentations on topics such as the history of Arabic in Brazil, cultural exchange and modern approaches to teaching.
The event will also include courses for teachers aimed at developing pedagogical skills in modern Arabic at different levels.
