Saudi Arabia opens new areas of study for professional development in the arts and culture sector

Amateurs and professionals have the opportunity to enrol in courses and contribute to the cultural sector

The programme for professional development in the arts and culture sector includes 30 tracks and nearly 150 training programmes covering areas such as culinary arts, theatre, library, film, fashion, heritage, visual arts, literature, publishing, and translation. This is reported by Arab News.

The Saudi Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the governmental National eLearning Centre, has introduced the Paths of Excellence in Culture and Arts initiative, which is in line with the cultural development strategy.

The programme offers a variety of training options in different areas of arts and culture, fostering a culture of continuous learning and inspiring national talent.

The Ministry also provides fully funded training opportunities and gives participants the chance to undertake internships at renowned global institutions. The duration of educational courses depends on the chosen cultural area.
