Saudi Arabia unveils pioneering Centre for Space Futures to shape global innovation
In a stride towards redefining the global space industry, Saudi Arabia has launched the Centre for Space Futures. As the first of its kind, this initiative underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment to becoming a global leader in space innovation, research, and sustainable development. The initiative aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, aiming to boost the space economy while supporting technological breakthroughs and fostering international partnerships. The Centre also presented its Board of Directors, which included a distinguished group of international experts.
The Centre for Space Futures will work to accelerate the growth of space research and innovation and to develop best practices and regulatory policies.
The project aspires to create a global platform that maximises the economic and environmental potential of space, establishing Saudi Arabia as a key player in shaping the future of the industry, the source claimed.
