Solar & Storage Live Africa 2024 world exhibition takes place in South Africa
Innovative Chinese solutions at the exhibition impressed participants
Solar & Storage Live Africa 2024, a major global exhibition held in Johannesburg, concluded with outstanding participation from Chinese solar manufacturers. Chinese products at the show attracted attention with their innovative and compact solutions displayed among other global brands.
For three days at the South African exhibition centre, exhibitors showcased smart energy technologies including photovoltaic modules, storage, renewable energy inverters and power generation equipment. This is reported by CCTV+, a partner of TV BRICS.
Among the 500 exhibitors, approximately 60 per cent were Chinese companies. Participants noted a marked improvement in the quality of Chinese solutions and technologies compared to previous exhibitions.
Local participants also expressed hope for further innovative solutions from Chinese companies that can change South Africa's energy sector for the better. They expressed a preference for technologies that would be more portable and user-friendly, with the aim of reducing energy supply costs.
