South African artist opens exhibition in Cape Town

The works combine Afrofuturism, urban artistry, and cultural storytelling

16 Non-Leratolic Gallery in Cape Town, presents a solo exhibition "The Future is Fantastic". The author of the exposition is a famous South African artist Falko Fantastic.

The exposition features more than 50 works that merge two contrasting mediums: spray paint and watercolour. The painter combined the two materials to create a style where the original references are hidden, leaving only the shape and essence of the work.

Through this innovative technique, the author tries to push creative boundaries and redefine contemporary African art. This is reported by BRICS AFRICA CHANNEL, a partner of TV BRICS.

The painter, Falko Fantastic, described his unique art process, saying, "Here are 52 works that are done with spray paint and watercolour. For me, it is an unusual combination, but [...] the style of the work is the character that I have got."

The exhibition offers innovative blending technology, culture, and artistic expression in a way that is uniquely African.
