Students of Indian university to learn information about trees by means of a QR code

Apart from QR code, the administration has placed tags with common as well as scientific names of plants and trees

Pt Ravishankar Shukla University (PRSU) has placed QR codes on every tree in the campus. This has been done so that the students can get information about the scientific and medicinal properties of different types of plants. This is reported by ANI, a partner of TV BRICS.

The administration of the higher educational institution wanted the students to learn about the significance of several trees in the campus of the university. Scanning a special code the students can get information about medicinal properties, scientific facts, age and other data, the lecturer of the university Afaque Quraishi emphasised.

Besides QR code, the administration has also attached tags with common and scientific names of plants and trees, the associate professor added.

The students of the university, emphasised that QR codes help a lot in studying trees and give an opportunity to facilitate the search by their properties.
